Math Contest

What is the contest?

• A monthly series of math lessons followed by contests from January to May
• The Contest is for each grade separately (grades 1 - 8) and are open to all students
• Topics assessed in each test will be announced 1 or 2 weeks before the contest
• Each lesson will be one week before the respective contest
• The lessons will explain the subjects on the following test and include sample questions

How does it work?

• The tests will be fully online, live, with a time limit of 30 minutes
• Parents are allowed to observe the lessons and/or test, but are not allowed to assist or participate during the contest.
• Each student will receive their scores, and the top scoring participant(s) will be announced the same day and recognized with awards
• Scores will be added for a cumulative score and the top score students for each level will participate in the national tournament in May
• Students have the option to participate in selective contests or all contests until the final

How do I enroll?

• Go to the Enrollment/Registration page on this site.
• In the registration form, select “Math Competition”
• In the note section of the registration form, write the months you want to enroll in (e.g., Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr)
• The fee includes both the contest and the respective lesson
